Pastoral Staff and Ministry Team
Senior Pastors
Jerry and Tina Kennedy became pastors of Radiant Life beginning Feb. 1, 2007 under the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit. In 1989, Jerry established a Chaplaincy Program for the United Auto Workers Local 2166 and the General Motors Shreveport Plant where he served as Chaplain for 15 years. He left GM in July of 2006 to pursue his calling to become a pastor. He received his graduate degree from Word of Life School of Ministry in Shreveport in 1991, his Bachelor’s Degree in Ministerial Studies in 2000 and his Master’s degree in Psychology and Pastoral Counseling from La. Baptist University in May of 2002. Tina also received her graduate degree from Word of Life School of Ministry.
Jerry and Tina have been married for 32 years in January of 2008 and have two children, Steven and Stephanie. Both Steven and Stephanie, and their families, faithfully serve together at Radiant Life, along with Jerry and Tina.
Jerry and Tina invite you to come and worship with them and the congregation at Radiant Life, and to receive what God has for you. You have a plan and purpose in God’s Kingdom and it is their desire to help you become everything that God intended you to be. Come visit, expecting a blessing – for “God inhabits the praises of His people”. (Psalm 22:3 KJV)
Young Marrieds/College and Career/Youth Pastors
Steven and Patricia Kennedy have been married since October 2000 and have two daughters: Skye and Emerald. They are both graduates of Word of Life School of Ministry in Shreveport and are faithfully serving at Radiant Life Church. Steven is the Young Married’s Pastor, College and Career Pastor, and the Youth Pastor. He is totally committed and dedicated to the things of God in his service at Radiant Life.
Patricia is over our Nursery and Children’s Church. She sees that the needs of the youngest children of God are met with her dedication and commitment to them. Her gentle, loving spirit reaches out and wraps around our precious ones week after week. Her smile is a comfort that welcomes them into a safe place.
Steven and Patricia are both on fire and radically and totally sold out to the things of God. They invite you to come and be a part of Radiant Life – from the youngest, on up to Young Married’s – knowing that God will reach out and touch even the babies, children and young people because He has a perfect plan for EVERYONE.
Praise and Worship Ministry
Barbara Walker has been in Praise and Worship Ministry for 26 years, serving on the Praise and Worship team at Radiant Life for ten years. Over the years, she has learned more of the Word of God and the importance of Praise and Worship.
Praise and Worship is more than singing songs.
John 4:23,24 (AMP)– A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
Worship is a position of the heart.
Psalm 95:6 (AMP)– O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker (in reverent praise and supplication).
Psalm 22:22 (AMP)– I will declare Your name to my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise You.
No hinderances of the enemy can stand as we enter into God's gates with sacrifices of praise and into His courts singing praises. The dominant note in New Testament worship is that of joy and thanksgiving in the face of God's gracious redemption of mankind in Jesus Christ. In worship, the past, present, and future are combined. He who was, who is, and who is to come is present with His people in worship. When we worship, we join universal worship, worship that is going on all over the world, and worship that is going on in heaven also. To be a worshiping congregation is my heart’s desire for Radiant Life. When you see God for who He is and not only for what He can do, you can do nothing but worship Him.

Connie Rogé has been serving at Radiant Life since 2003. She has been married to Harold 30 years. Because so many special people helped her while she growing up, she has felt compelled to help others. She happily serves in the Missions Ministry and is a willing volunteer in Food Bank Ministry, because she has a great opportunity to serve and help others.

Ladies Ministry / Executive Support
Angela Dean serves as Just for Ladies President which was birthed in September 2003. Angela knew that God sent her to Radiant Life for His purpose and plan. She remembers God’s peace surrounding her when she walked into the doors for the first time. The Holy Spirit is relied on completely for direction in all areas of Just for Ladies. The group of ladies that are 18 years and older is growing and moving forward with purpose in all that God has called this ministry to.
The person in Angela’s life that she gives credit to for making a difference in who she is today would be her grandmother, Myrtle. Myrtle went to be with the Lord when Angela was only 10 years old. Angela learned about persevering through in prayer because of the strong prayer life that her grandmother had. Myrtle also lived and set the example before her of faithfulness to being in the house of God. Angela loves writing and has written many poems over the years. She is an intercessor/prayer warrior and believes that prayer changes things.
One of Angela’s favorite scriptures is found in 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)– For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Senior Citizens Ministry
Doris Lewis is one of those rare individuals with a true servants heart. The genuine humility that possesses her personality will lead her to accept any task. Whether it be menial or in the spotlight, her attitude is exactly the same because her focus is service.
Doris joined the vision of Radiant Life in the early part of 2007 under the direction of the Holy Spirit. During lunch with Pastors Jerry and Tina (daughter and son-in-law) The Golden RadiaTors was born. She accepted the challenge to lead and immediately went to work . The fact that she is a hard worker is evidenced by her recent retirement at 70+ years. With time no longer being a major constraint, she hopes to devote herself to the people of God and His will.
Isaiah 1:19 (AMP)– If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.
Life Group Ministry
Danny and Barbara Walker were trained in Life Group Ministry at Word of Life in Shreveport. They were Life Group leaders for many years. They saw many lives transformed by the power of God.
Ephesians 4:16 (NLT)– Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does it’s own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
